A lot of work, but we'll worth it and it's very satisfying too. My husband and I just got a huge clump of Edith Wolford irises at a steal of a deal, $8.99, and we loved their complimentary colors of creamy yellow and cornflower blue. We divided up the 8 rhizomes that we crowding the gallon container and put them in the bed near our house, lining the walkway. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder! Nice job on your garden bed.

It is really gorgeous but just didn't look good there. I think that standing alone by itself off near the road it will be a real traffic stopper!
