I don't think you'll be disappointed. And amazingly, I just stuck it in relatively poor soil where it receives pretty hot summer sun and it's growing like gangbusters. It's the first rose I've ever tried. Good luck finding it--I came across mine at a big-box hardware store. It wasn't blooming but I knew what it was from my reporting days as a home and garden writer in Washington, D.C., when I interviewed a man who grew it and I first fell in love with its beauty.
