And amazingly, I just stuck it in relatively poor soil where it receives pretty hot summer sun and it&#039;s growing like gangbusters. It&#039;s the first rose I&#039;ve ever tried. Good luck finding it--I came across mine at a big-box hardware store. It wasn&#039;t blooming but I knew what it was from my reporting days as a home and garden writer in Washington, D.C., when I interviewed a man who grew it and I first fell in love with its beauty. My lucky day!</description>
